A Fabulous Adventure!

You'll discover that the Zhang San Feng Festival & Dao of Health Expo is a unique collection of masters and topics serving up an unparalleled experience. Attendees pay one price and then choose from among dozens of workshops to watch and participate in over the course of three days. For those seeking a more immersive experience, pre and post Festival workshops are available allowing attendees to study one subject, with one master, for one or more days. Festival topics range from the healing to the martial aspects of tai chi and the related Chinese arts, qigong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, lectures on Taoist and Buddhist philosophy, and more. Sprinkled among the Chinese arts is an eclectic mix of "off topic" subjects designed to keep things fun and lively. Secondary topics are wide open -- from Shamanic studies, to "sphereplay", to the ancient Chinese Tea ceremony; you never know what any given year at the Festival will bring.

At the center of the activities is the Dao of Health Expo, a vending area offering a fascinating mix of books, DVD's, Chinese clothing and rare products, custom-made calligraphy and more. Every year attracts a new range of vendors, discovering this unique gathering for the first time.

Each day begins with morning qigong and meditation classes before breakfast, and ends with entertainment each night, from keynote speakers, to drumming circles to kungfu movies in the resort movie lounge. The Festival ends on Sunday with a master's Q&A roundtable discussion, raffle giveaways and a Taoist incense ceremony designed to send everyone home with a smile on their lips and peace in their hearts.

Discounts are available for children. A "Night Owl" package is also available, allowing folks to attend just the night activities. This package is ideal for the significant other who wants to enjoy the resort but isn't interested in the workshops, allowing them to share the night activities with you after a day in the pool, hot tub, or out on the golf course.
