About Patience T'ai Chi Association
Patience T'ai Chi Association is one of the oldest continuously operating Tai Chi schools in America. Founded in 1970 by Sifu William C. Phillips, Patience has flourished over the years, teaching hundreds of students the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan. Classes are offered in Tai Chi Form, Push Hands, Da Lu, Sword Form and Applications. Beginning students learn in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere from accomplished instructors. The pace of instruction is often tailored to fit the individual. As Sifu James Leporati often says, "There is no hurry. It takes a lifetime to learn Tai Chi anyway!" All instruction takes place in our clean, modern, air-conditioned facilities. We have found that many of our students often seek out private instruction to supplement their training in class, and all of our instructors are available for such instruction by appointment.

Patience T'ai Chi Association has played host
to many world renowned instructors over the 37 years it has been in existence.
