Since the 1970's, Sifu William C. Phillips through Patience T'ai Chi has been certifying Tai Chi instructors, giving them permission to proceed forward in passing on the Cheng Man-Ch'ing lineage.

It is an honor and a privilege that has been sought out by many, but only those who have committed themselves to rigorous training and demonstrated not only their ability to perform our Tai Chi form well, but also teach it well, have been given permission to call themselves Patience Tai Chi Certified Instructors.
