Join Patience Tai Chi at the Zhang San Feng Festival & Dao of Health Expo!

Patience Tai Chi would like to let everyone know about a wonderful event scheduled in June that Sifu William C. Phillips will be attending — the 33rd annual Zhang San Feng Festival & Dao of Health Expo. The Zhang San Feng Festival is, of course, named for the 16th century Taoist hermit, Zhang San Feng, often credited as the founder of tai chi. This convention brings together many of the top instructors in the field to offer nearly 60 "hands on" workshops over the course of three-plus days. Sifu Phillips will be both instructing as a presenter, and assisting with the running of this legendary event. This year's Festival is scheduled from Thursday evening (opening ceremonies) June 5 -- Sunday June 8, 2008, at Fallsview Resort and Spa in the Catskills region of New York.

A Word From Sifu William C. Phillips
As an old friend of Master Jou Tsung Hwa, and a member of A.S.I.A.'s Board of Advisors, I have been a regular participant and strong supporter of this event for many years. It has in common with the philosophy of Professor Cheng Man-Ch'ing the idea that Tai Chi knowledge is meant to be shared, and that cooperation among both teachers and students is vital in order for the art to continue. The Zhang San Feng Festival is very different from what many of you may be used to. It is truly an event that brings us all together in an atmosphere of fun, spirituality and friendship. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
